Skete Milktea Laboratory: Newest milk tea shop in Quiapo, Manila

Looking for a new hangout place with your friends around Manila? Well, we’ll recommend a new milk tea place for you.

They recently opened last August and still on soft opening. They are planning to do the grand opening before October ends (mid-October).

The place itself is cute. I like the ambiance especially their model logo, which is a corgi. HAHA. They also have a cute backdrop beside the counter where you can have some photo ops.

The only sad part is that it has a limited seating capacity. Hope they will expand it soonest. But nonetheless, the place is good for a quick hangout time with your friends.

Now, let us introduce the food and drinks inside Skete Milktea Laboratory. They serve milk teas, fruit teas, and other refreshing drinks. They also have pastas and finger food that comes in a very affordable price.

Let us start with the drinks. They first served us their Cream Puff Series. Available in Medium (16 oz) and Tall (22 oz).

We liked them both but for us, the Chocomalt is the winner. Perfect especially if you’re a chocolate lover. Also, perfect for kiddos! Both is instagrammable. LOL.

They also have Yakult Blend Series. We got their Passion Yakult that has natas and edible Passion Fruit seeds. And if you’ll ask us if what will be our number 1 drink here, it will be the Passion Yakult. YOU MUST TRY THIS!

Now, let’s go to the Milk Tea with Pearl Series. We got different flavors and in different sizes. They are available in Petite (12 oz), Medium (16 oz), Tall (22 oz), and Giant (1 L).

In this series, our favorite will be the Thai Milk Tea.

Their Wintermelon Milk Tea is also good. Note that you can add sinkers like we did. We add Rock Salt & Cheese for only 20 php.

And last but not the least, we had their Classic Milk Tea in Giant! This is perfect for milk tea lovers out there! Look at the size!

Now we’re done with the drinks, we’ll be presenting their snacks and finger food.

For starter, we got their Nachos. This is one of our favorite also. Perfect partner with the Passion Yakult.

They also have Potato Twist that comes in 3 flavors (BBQ, Cheese, and Sour Cream).

The next one is really the bomb! This Cheese Bombs are so good and cheesy! Must try!

For their pastas, we had the Chicken Ala King, Al Pesto, and Spaghetti Bolognese. For me, Al Pesto was the winner but for Ian, it was the Spaghetti Bolognese.

Aside from this branch, they have 2 upcoming branches that will open before the year ends. So watch out and stay tuned on their announcement!

This is definitely your newest hangout place in Manila. Affordable price and good food and drinks. Our favorite from their food were the Al Pesto Pasta, Cheese Bombs, and Nachos. From their drinks; we loved the Passion Yakult, Thai Milk Tea, and Chocomalt. Actually, all the food they served to us were good. But the one we mentioned just really stand out.

6 things you should know about 24 Chicken

If you’re a frequent visitor to our page, The Hungry Traveler PH, you’ll notice that one of our favorite chicken joint in Manila is 24 Chicken. In this article, we’ll tell you what you should know and why we love this Korean fried chicken.

1. Affordable yet has good quality taste

Did you know that for as low as 85 php, you’ll satisfy your chicken cravings with their flavored chicken? Yes, here in 24 Chicken, they make sure that everyone can afford their quality chicken especially that they are located near in some universities in Manila, U-belt to be specific.

In fact, most of their customers are students. They have budget rice meals available here. You can choose between 2 pcs or their 3 pcs chicken with rice.

2. They have 9 flavors to choose from

The picture above is not updated as they launched their newest flavor which is Snow Cheese that is one of our favorite flavor up to date.

3. They are open for take out and delivery

Basically, they are available for take out and delivery only. That’s why many students are their customers who doesn’t have enough time to dine in.

And yes, they are also open for delivery around Manila only with a minimal delivery charge.

4. They now have dining options in some of their branches

Due to popular demand and some of their customers’ request, some of their branches have seating capacity already. We also enjoyed dining at some of their branches.

5. They are eco-friendly

What we also love about this restaurant is that they promoting to use less plastics. They use paper cups and wood chopsticks. Also, they are observing CLAYGO.

Aside from that, they are also using reusable bags. You can get it for free if you avail a whole chicken or buy it for only 20 php. Every time you order and you have their reusable bag, you’ll have a 2 php discount. What a great deal!

6. They have 10 branches up to date

If you are residing in Manila, you don’t have to worry because they have several branches there. And finally, the long wait is over! They now have a branch here in Quezon City.

It’s Christmas already at Nuel Cafe!

Ber months has come! Here in the Philippines, when September comes, that means Christmas has started. You can hear Christmas songs already. Yes, we, Filipinos, are excited like that when you say Christmas.

Just recently, we visited a restaurant in Mandaluyong. This is not your typical cafe or restaurant, because we felt like king and queen for a night inside at Nuel Cafe.

Just wanted to inform you that this theme is not for good. This is just for Christmas season, but usually, it still extra because of the royal vibe ambiance of the restaurant.

The owner of this majestic restaurant is a lawyer. You will notice a “lawyer” sign before entering the restaurant.

Now, let start the tour with their beautiful lobby.

The restaurant itself is small. So in case it is still full, you can wait here and take some shots with their christmas trees like we did.

Now, let’s go inside to try the royal cafe experience! Are you excited? Coz’ we are! Hehe.

You will be greeted by one of their staff that is suited like you’re in a castle. Look! NOTE: They are only accepting CASH.

If we’re not mistaken, there are only 5 big tables inside the cafe. This is a perfect place for corporate events such as meetings. You will feel comfortable inside too. Just be careful because you might broke some things inside. Hehe. That’s one of their friendly reminder inside. You can also borrow their crowns too that comes in different designs, sizes, and colors.

Now, worrying about the price inside? No, you don’t have to. Here at Nuel Cafe, you will experience a royal food in a very affordable price! We’re also shocked when we saw the menu. Super affordable!!!
