Since we really missed having milktea outside, we went to visit this cute place near to us! What’s up, Don Antonio peeps?! Did you know that there’s a newly milktea place there? It is located near Don Antonio Sports Center. Only 1 ride away from our place.
According to the manager, they opened 3 days before the government announced the Enhanced Community Quarantine. And last June 3, they opened again since NCR is now on General Community Quarantine.
You can also watch our short tour regarding this cute place below.
Upon entering the place, you’ll definitely notice the vibrant colors inside. Aside from its place, we’re also intrigue by their Pea Tea Series which was new to our eyes.
Yes, they also observe proper social distancing and they have alcohol on the counter. When we got there, we’re the only diners and the rest of the customers were ordering for takeout. They are also open for delivery around the area.

These two donuts have been circulating on my feed for a long time now. And being the curious food blogger, I finally gave in and tried the two trending classic Filipino donuts.
So let’s talk about the trending Lola Nena’s and Mix-up Breadhaus. Both originally from the Philippines so we can say their donuts are Filipino classics, like the ones that we bought in a bakery.
PACKAGING
Lola Nena’s: shoe-box type, rectangular size
Mix-Up Breadhaus: square box
PRODUCT OFFERED
Lola Nena’s: Triple Cheese Donuts (also available in classic)
Mix-Up Breadhaus: Milky Cheese Donuts
PRICE / PIECE
Lola Nena’s: 200 php per box | 8 pcs in each box
Mix-Up Breadhaus: 220 php per box | 20 pcs in each box
WHERE TO BUY
Lola Nena’s: Bought it in their Commonwealth branch; you can also pre-order online
Mix-Up Breadhaus: Got it from J&M Your Food Shoppe; they deliver around Metro Manila and CALABARZON
TASTE
Lola Nena’s: Best eaten when hot to feel the melted cheese; there’s “umay” factor when eaten cold because the cheese will turn into a block of cheese; coated in sugar
Mix-Up Breadhaus: Small amount of cheese inside; the bread is tough when eaten cold (consume immediately); coated in powdered milk
FINAL VERDICT
Both are definitely good. Best paired with coffee!
Brings back the good old memories of our classic donuts from the bakery.
Both are messy to eat (sugar for Lola Nena’s and powdered milk for Mix-Up Breadhaus).
Price-wise, will definitely go for Mix-Up Breadhaus, for only 220 php, you can get 20 pcs donuts.
Blueberry cheesecakes is one of the crowd favorite when it comes to cheesecakes. Aside from its picturesque, the sweet and sour taste compliment each other.
Here in this article, you will find out what’s thetop 10 blueberry cheesecakes from The Hungry Traveler PH.
Our top 10 blueberry cheesecake in no particular order:
Who doesn’t love the blueberry cheesecakes from Starbucks? You can find it on all Starbucks branches. So creamy and thick and you can really taste the blueberry bits.
THE COFFEE BEAN & TEA LEAF
Compared to Starbucks, their blueberry isn’t thick but I like the ice cream texture of the cheesecake. Tasted only once but I can still remember the taste!
Since all of us are staying in our homes, all of us know about the trending in social media, which is the Dalgona Coffee.
Saw this first on my Facebook page and immediately checked our kitchen if we have the tools and ingredients needed. Plus, I’m a coffee lover so I’m eager to try this so I did.

If you are a coffee lover, you will appreciate this. But I’m warning you, this will keep you awake for so long. So better minimize the coffee mixture if you don’t want that to happen. Hehe.

Surprisingly, I like this more than the coffee (super love coffee btw). Maybe because I also have a sweet tooth so I appreciate the sweetness of this one.
Did a poll on my Instagram story to know which one thinks they better, and the answer is DALGONA MILO. Do you tried this both? If yes, which one is your favorite?
