So happy to be back at this paradise. Yes, I call it such because the whole place is so extra and instagrammable. I suggest to bring your cutest #OOTD and camera. Hehe

Now, let’s start the tour!!! First, you have to have your “passport” before entering the first room, which is the Donut Room. That passport will be your access to get your free desserts too! So don’t lose it. πŸ˜€

When we went here last 2016, they only have 8 rooms. But now, they remove some of the old rooms and renovate it to a more beautiful and instagrammable room.

Before, there’s no free dessert in this room. But now, they already have! Yey for free donuts!

Before, the free dessert here were marshmallow with your choice of dip. But now, it’s marshmallow inside an ice cream cone. I think I like the old one.

They also renovate the other side of the room that makes it more cute and lively.

They also have a corner here which you can pose and use their posters that have different advocacy from the Philippines. Good job!

NAUGHTY OR NICE ROOM

Are you naughty or nice? Here, they renovate some parts of the room and the desserts as well. Before, you will get a free macaroon here. But now, you can choose whether a lollipop or a cotton candy. Now, they added a tea set up which has big tea cups and giant macaroons.

BANANA BEACH ROOM

This is the former ice cream room which before, I said, the least favorite room of ours because of its plain design. Now, they renovate it with this summer-vibe look! The free dessert here is banana dipped in frozen chocolates. So far, the dessert here was my favorite.

They have a new set up here too. But the gumball is still here and no free dessert in this room, still.

Skete Milktea Laboratory: Newest milk tea shop in Quiapo, Manila

Looking for a new hangout place with your friends around Manila? Well, we’ll recommend a new milk tea place for you.

They recently opened last August and still on soft opening. They are planning to do the grand opening before October ends (mid-October).

The place itself is cute. I like the ambiance especially their model logo, which is a corgi. HAHA. They also have a cute backdrop beside the counter where you can have some photo ops.

The only sad part is that it has a limited seating capacity. Hope they will expand it soonest. But nonetheless, the place is good for a quick hangout time with your friends.

Now, let us introduce the food and drinks inside Skete Milktea Laboratory. They serve milk teas, fruit teas, and other refreshing drinks. They also have pastas and finger food that comes in a very affordable price.

Let us start with the drinks. They first served us their Cream Puff Series. Available in Medium (16 oz) and Tall (22 oz).

We liked them both but for us, the Chocomalt is the winner. Perfect especially if you’re a chocolate lover. Also, perfect for kiddos! Both is instagrammable. LOL.

For starter, we got their Nachos. This is one of our favorite also. Perfect partner with the Passion Yakult.

This is definitely your newest hangout place in Manila. Affordable price and good food and drinks. Our favorite from their food were the Al Pesto Pasta, Cheese Bombs, and Nachos. From their drinks; we loved the Passion Yakult, Thai Milk Tea, and Chocomalt. Actually, all the food they served to us were good. But the one we mentioned just really stand out.

Did you know that for as low as 85 php, you’ll satisfy your chicken cravings with their flavored chicken? Yes, here in 24 Chicken, they make sure that everyone can afford their quality chicken especially that they are located near in some universities in Manila, U-belt to be specific.

In fact, most of their customers are students. They have budget rice meals available here. You can choose between 2 pcs or their 3 pcs chicken with rice.

Basically, they are available for take out and delivery only. That’s why many students are their customers who doesn’t have enough time to dine in.

4. They now have dining options in some of their branches

Due to popular demand and some of their customers’ request, some of their branches have seating capacity already. We also enjoyed dining at some of their branches.

5. They are eco-friendly

What we also love about this restaurant is that they promoting to use less plastics. They use paper cups and wood chopsticks. Also, they are observing CLAYGO.

Aside from that, they are also using reusable bags. You can get it for free if you avail a whole chicken or buy it for only 20 php. Every time you order and you have their reusable bag, you’ll have a 2 php discount. What a great deal!

It’s Christmas already at Nuel Cafe!

Ber months has come! Here in the Philippines, when September comes, that means Christmas has started. You can hear Christmas songs already. Yes, we, Filipinos, are excited like that when you say Christmas.

Just recently, we visited a restaurant in Mandaluyong. This is not your typical cafe or restaurant, because we felt like king and queen for a night inside at Nuel Cafe.

Just wanted to inform you that this theme is not for good. This is just for Christmas season, but usually, it still extra because of the royal vibe ambiance of the restaurant.

The owner of this majestic restaurant is a lawyer. You will notice a “lawyer” sign before entering the restaurant.

Now, let start the tour with their beautiful lobby.

The restaurant itself is small. So in case it is still full, you can wait here and take some shots with their christmas trees like we did.

If we’re not mistaken, there are only 5 big tables inside the cafe. This is a perfect place for corporate events such as meetings. You will feel comfortable inside too. Just be careful because you might broke some things inside. Hehe. That’s one of their friendly reminder inside. You can also borrow their crowns too that comes in different designs, sizes, and colors.

Now, worrying about the price inside? No, you don’t have to. Here at Nuel Cafe, you will experience a royal food in a very affordable price! We’re also shocked when we saw the menu. Super affordable!!!

Would love to go back again and experience the usual theme here at Nuel Cafe. Would like to try also their other dishes. The tapa was so good. The meat was tender and flavorful. The pasta also is my favorite. Love also the idea that they are not using plastic straws. Yey! Again, they are accepting CASH only. If you are more than 4 pax, you need to book a reservation. Also, they are open on WEEKDAYS only.

Overall, we had fun here at Nuel Cafe. Affordable yet quality food plus good ambiance are what we are looking in a restaurant. You must go here now. Especially, now that Christmas is coming very soon.

Every 2 weeks, my family goes to Supermarket to buy all the things we need to stock for 2-3 weeks. After doing grocery, we’ll have lunch or dinner at our favorite restaurant. We definitely had fun and enjoyed the food here at All Day. Aside from it’s fresh, it’s also affordable! For as low as 100 php (500 grams), you can enjoy a good meal already. That includes basic ingredients and condiments. We also liked the idea of Gastroville. We missed eating in food parks so this is a good idea! Good job, All Day!

The whole place is covered with artificial “Sakura” flowers. They have milk teas, fruit teas, and traditional hot teas. They also offer XL size drinks that is very affordable. Finally, Juice Cubi is now here in Manila. Their first store is located in Davao City. What I loved about this place aside from the beautiful interiors is their Monster Series or juice series. My favorite is the Starry Night (160 php) which changes its color as you pour a lemon drink on it. In their milk tea series, you can order Cubi Special Milk Tea (140 php) that has no milk but has yogurt. I also love their advocacy to use metal straws and quit using plastic straws. Oops, before I forgot, the bottles are also reusable.

Avocadoria is located at the lower ground floor of Ayala Malls the 30th. They just opened last August but the hype is just too real! When we went there, the line was crazy!

One thing we noticed was that this store is open for all ages. Imagine, you can see some oldies and babies trying out their desserts! One reason is that avocado is actually a healthy fruit. So it’s good for our health.

We’re supposed to try all of their products but since the line was crazy that day (actually almost everyday), one of their best seller desserts, which is the Avocado Dream, was sold out! Huhu. But it’s okay, the remaining desserts were good! SO GOOD.

Layered with homemade cream and biscuits, tapioca pearls, fresh bits of avocado, chunks of almond, and a dash of healthy flax and chia seeds

Super love this one! The sweetness is just right. The soft-serve ice cream is super good. The biscuits they used is not the ordinary biscuits we knew. You can taste that it is homemade. I can’t feel I’m cheating on my diet because hey, it’s avocado!

Avocado Shake (170 php)

Made with real avocado, pearls, topped with chia and flax seeds, almonds, and chopped with fresh fruit of your choice (chico, mango, jackfruit, guyabano, and avocado)

Compared to Avocado Lover, the first one we tried was much sweeter than this one. But their shake is refreshing enough so you’ll find yourself that you almost end up drinking it.

Avocado Ice Cream Cheesecake (550 php)

Served in a tin tub, it is consists of smooth and light cream cheese, creamy avocado, topped with white chocolate gourmet with chops of healthy nuts such as pistachios, almonds, and cashews

Definitely my favorite! Forget all that dream cakes, replace it with this one! Much healthier and much cheaper. I’ll highly recommend everyone to try this one. Everything is done perfectly.

If you’ll ask me if the hype is real, I’ll definitely answer YES 100%! Now I know why all of their branch have crazy long lines almost every day. Wondering why it cost quite expensive? Hey, avocado is a really expensive fruit. Plus, all of the fruits are coming from Davao so it’ll take much time to transfer all of these in Manila. But I’ll assure you that all of the fruits they use are fresh.

What I really love about this place is the pastel-inspired interiors of the whole place. Every corner is really perfect for millenials because it’s instagrammable!

Not only they have the cutest place but they also have some good advocacy. One is they have reusable bottles that you can take home after drinking them. The other one is they are encouraging everyone to use reusable metal straws. Hope everyone will implement this too, soon.

If you want to try some new drinks such as fruit teas, then try this! I love their Monster Series especially the Starry Night as it changes its color when you pour a lemon drink in it. In their Milk Tea Series, you have to try their Cubi Special Milk Tea, it is a yogurt based so it is kinda new to our taste buds.
