There will come a time that eating samgyupsal doesn’t excite you anymore. Can you feel me? Or is it just really me?! LOL. Being a foodie, I need to try and taste new food each and every time. This restaurant is owned by Mr. Kenzaburo Kobayashi that is also a chef. The former location of their restaurant was established in Mandaluyong, but they are relocated along the university belt in Sampaloc, Manila.

They serve authentic Japanese food including ramen, tempura, sushi, tonkatsu, and more. Before I forget, it’s UNLIMITED and it’s only 399 PHP per head.

You can find them inside Laperal Apartment. Upon entering the area, you will notice immediately their place because of the huge space they have and the legit Japanese ambiance of the restaurant.

They also have a bar area located at the back. Also, you can have here unli yakiniku or unli shabu-shabu. Both for 399 PHP per head.

Just a little information, the serving of the food is not that big like the regular ones. But since it’s unlimited, you can refill anytime.

The drinks is also UNLIMITED. Try their Calamansi Juice! So refreshing and good.

They have a discount promo for kids: For 3 ft and below, FREE. For 3 ft to 4 ft, HALF OF THE REGULAR PRICE. Plus, if you’re an INFLUENCER, they have another promo for you. Kindly check the picture for your reference.

If you’re around the area, this is a must try. A truly great deal. For its affordable price, you can get unlimited authentic Japanese food. The staff are also attentive and accommodating to all customers so you don’t have to worry if you need a refill. You can also order ala carte food and have it delivered at your home via Foodpanda.

ABOUT HODAI RESTAURANT

It’s a Japanese-Korean restaurant that offers eat-all-you-can. Hodai in Japanese means “all you can“. All dishes are prepared straight from the kitchen.

When you arrive at the restaurant, the first thing you will notice outside is that it looks like an old house. But don’t worry, the ambiance inside is big and has that Japanese feels.

For the food, they offer SILVER SET (499 php) and GOLD SET (599 php). But because of their “Thank You Promo”, they extended their 299 php promo for Silver Set and 359 php for Gold Set! Great steal right?!

What is the difference of the Silver and Gold Set? If you get their Gold Set, you’ll have an additional Spicy Cheese BBQ Bowl which was one of my favorite! So good!

Note that it also comes with unlimited rice and soup that is self service.

After indulging on their food, why not have an ice cream for dessert?! Note that the desserts is not included in the unli promo and you have to pay for it separately.

Group reservations are highly encouraged to do a reservation first as they offer a 150-seat capacity only.

Overall, this restaurant is a must try to us! Especially if you love Japanese food. Plus, it offers unlimited food so why can’t say no to this, right? One thing I noticed was that they don’t have ramen (which our fave Jap food). But it’s also okay to try other Japanese food. By the way, their Sushi Roll Tower are good! It offers different flavors with different kinds of dip/sauce.
