Feynman Coffee: A rustic-inspired coffee shop in Taytay, Rizal

feynman coffee

A coffee place down the corner.

Feynman Coffee is a place to visit if you want to have that intimate coffee experience.

The place has a very rustic vibe with its wooden interior, played with oil-based painting on walls as you walk up their stairs.

Also, they have an alfresco place just beside the main store that has a classic stall-like long table made by a wooden plank where you can enjoy coffee outdoor while watching the sun goes down.

PRO TIP: Please do stay a little longer ’til the darkness of the night engulfs the sky where the store lights would lit up the place to a more soothing vibe!

All their beverages and snacks gave off a taste of decadence and quality. We’ve ordered the following food and drinks:

Fresh Tomato and Basil Pasta (290 PHP)

Al dente pasta and the basic harmony of tomato and basil make a very good comforting food.

Spanish Sardines Pasta (330 PHP)

A taste of good Spanish sardines partnered with pasta. The strong flavor of Spanish sardines blends well with the al dente pasta.

Smashed Burger (275 PHP)

Packed with juiciness and beef tenderness, this classic cheeseburger with fries has a rich and meaty flavor that all of us love!

Chicken Pesto Panini Sandwich (285 PHP)

The great pesto taste. The flavor of the pesto harmonized well with the freshness of tomatoes and the soft crunch of the sandwich. A play with texture and taste!

Iced Horchata (190 PHP)

feynman coffee

A drink that comes from rice combined with cinnamon and a cinnamon stick on top. A refreshing way to quench anyone’s thirst. The aroma of cinnamon kicks in every time you sip it.

Iced Spanish Latte (160 PHP)

Not that sweet and has the strong taste of coffee, which we loved personally.

Iced Dirty Matcha (185 PHP)

Kiwi Lemonade (185 PHP)

A refreshing way to cap things off. Great mixture of sourness and sweetness.

Cookies and Cream Blended Frappe (195 PHP)

D’expresso: A tropical-inspired cafe in QC

d'expresso qc

Are you tired of the usual “milk tea and takoyaki” dates? How about let’s have some “coffee and ramen” date? G!?

d'expresso qc

We found this newly opened coffee shop in Quezon City. It’s an alfresco coffee shop, which is a plus for us since we’re still hesitant to dine-in nowadays.

This is actually their second branch already. Their first branch is located in Marikina, and it’s only good for takeout.

What we liked about their cafe, aside from the beach-vibe design, was their menu! All of our favorite comfort food are here.

COFFEE

They serve coffee and teas and have a wide variety of drinks and you can have it in hot or cold, depending on your preference.

We got their best-selling drinks, which are the Spanish Latte and Caramel Macchiato. We liked them both but the Spanish Latte is the winner for us!

RAMEN

A little trivia: Did you know that ramen is one of our comfort food? And yes, they also serve ramen here. We can now have two of our favorite food, coffee and ramen, in just one sitting! So thankful that D’expresso did this!

For the ramen, we got their Tonkotsu and Black Garlic. The soup was creamy and flavorful. The noodles were not soggy and very affordable for its taste! The Tonkotsu was our favorite! 🙂

PASTRIES

Of course, a cafe will not be complete without pastries! Another trivia: D’expresso cafe has its own bakery (and it will be opening soon), so all of their pastries are hand-made by them.

We tried their Ciabatta Ham and it’s definitely our favorite! It was freshly baked and the spread was very tasty!
