Are you tired of the usual “milk tea and takoyaki” dates? How about let’s have some “coffee and ramen” date? G!?
We found this newly opened coffee shop in Quezon City. It’s an alfresco coffee shop, which is a plus for us since we’re still hesitant to dine-in nowadays.
This is actually their second branch already. Their first branch is located in Marikina, and it’s only good for takeout.
What we liked about their cafe, aside from the beach-vibe design, was their menu! All of our favorite comfort food are here.
COFFEE
They serve coffee and teas and have a wide variety of drinks and you can have it in hot or cold, depending on your preference.
We got their best-selling drinks, which are the Spanish Latte and Caramel Macchiato. We liked them both but the Spanish Latte is the winner for us!
RAMEN
A little trivia: Did you know that ramen is one of our comfort food? And yes, they also serve ramen here. We can now have two of our favorite food, coffee and ramen, in just one sitting! So thankful that D’expresso did this!
For the ramen, we got their Tonkotsu and Black Garlic. The soup was creamy and flavorful. The noodles were not soggy and very affordable for its taste! The Tonkotsu was our favorite! 🙂
PASTRIES
Of course, a cafe will not be complete without pastries! Another trivia: D’expresso cafe has its own bakery (and it will be opening soon), so all of their pastries are hand-made by them.
We tried their Ciabatta Ham and it’s definitely our favorite! It was freshly baked and the spread was very tasty!
You can watch our short virtual tour on TikTok. You can also follow us there for more virtual tours 🙂
We know that this coffee shop is definitely one of the instagrammable coffee shops here in the Philippines. Aside from its aesthetic design, the food and drinks are exceptional too.
This branch is located in BGC and you can read our full experience below.
One of the hotspot destinations in Manila last year. This was established last year and the vibe here is so extra!!! Super loved the ambiance outside and romantic at night.
What we loved aside from the ambiance is that they are supporting locals by using local coffee grounds. Can’t wait to visit again and see the improvements in this coffee shop.
One of the minimalist coffee shops we’ve been to! This is usually a takeout coffee shop before. Now, they have more seats available since we are allowed to do alfresco dining.
Super loved the coffee here, especially the Mood Shifter. Plus, we commend the minimalist cup here!
One of the recent minimalist coffee shops we visited before the second lockdown. Super love this small, takeout coffee shop in Fairview! They were just taking orders online before, but many of their customers requested that they should open a branch. And tada, the rest is history!
Aside from the outside look of their coffee shop, we loved the packaging of the coffee. And yes, they are still open for delivery and still offer promo bundles. Oh, before we forgot, all drinks are below 99 PHP!
We know coffee is all we need, but how about if there’s a choice for wine, too? Wine not!? Here at Kalinaw Coffee Co, you can have the best of both worlds (coffee and wine). At first, they were just an online store offering coffee drip bags until resellers came in, and the rest is history! They now have a physical store.
We also commend them for supporting other SMEs inside their store! Good job, Kalinaw Coffee!
A newly opened minimalist coffee shop near our place!!! So happy. The interior of the cafe is so aesthetic. Very instagrammable and picturesque. Can’t wait for this ECQ to be lifted so we can visit again and dine in.
The baristas will ask you if you like your coffee to be strong or milky. So that’s a plus for us.
Found this newly opened beach-inspired cafe in QC. This is an alfresco cafe that serves a wide variety of coffee and tea, ramen, and pastries. This is their second branch already; their first branch is located in Marikina but only goods for takeout.
Found this newly opened cafe in Valenzuela! The interior is minimalist and Korean-inspired. The ambiance of this cafe is so cozy and chill. They serve a wide variety of drinks. Also, did we mention that their bottle drinks are unique?! They also offer appetizers up to desserts here.
Looking for some coffee and the trending “egg drop sandwich”? Here in Corner Cafe, you can have them both! Aside from these, the ambiance here is giving you a chill and cozy vibe. This cafe is located near Sto. Domingo. Aside from coffee and sandwiches, they also have rice meals and pasta here.
This hidden aesthetic cafe in Makati will make your feed more instagrammable. This boho-inspired cafe offers rice meals, coffees, wines, pastries, etc. They also have a branch in Pampanga! Reservation is a must so make sure to check them out before visiting.
This Korean-inspired and newly opened cafe in Kamuning is so extra! Aside from the instagrammable cafe, what we liked about this cafe was all the staff are PWD. Way to go, Hisbeans! We hope this is the start! We tried their coffee and pastries and it’s not that bad. Plus, it’s affordable!

Have you heard about this cafe? It’s owned by the famous “Muji” store. We tried their Ichigo Cafe Mocha and it was our favorite drink from them. Can’t wait to try their other coffee and pastries as well.
Is coffee shop your favorite hangout place? We found a newly opened coffee shop along West Avenue…and it’s not just an ordinary coffee shop because it’s also instagrammable.
View outside of the coffee shop
Just a hint, they opened last October 5 and they are just beside Sambokojin!
As we opened the door, our face were in awe. The place is spacious (as in), the ambiance is relaxing and cozy, and the aroma of coffee will welcome you.
Let me tour you around on their 1st floor.
Aside from these, the tables and chairs are also comfortable and relaxing. Each table has its customized name of the shop.
If you’re looking for some good spots for your IG feed, go to their 2nd floor… You’re welcome! Lol
Love the interior all over the place. And yes, since it’s a coffee shop, they have fast internet connection.
Now that we’re done with the tour, we’ll head over to the food and drinks they offer…
As of this writing, they offer sandwiches, salads, and pastries for the snacks and limited drinks selection such as milk tea and coffee. But according to their staff, they will be having rice meals soonest.
To start, here are the food and drinks we got from Q Cup!
CREAM CHEESE SERIES
They have five flavors but we only got 4 here: Oreo (155 php), Ube (155 php), Matcha (185 php), Chocolate (155 php). All were good but our top picks here were the Ube and Oreo!
Who doesn’t love cream cheese?! What if we tell you that here in Q Cup, you have 3 ways to enjoy it.
#1 Open the half moon lid and tilt the cup 45 degrees. Drink top & bottom layers together to enjoy your drink
#2 Open the half moon lid and use shovel to enjoy the cream cheese first
#3 Open the half moon lid and use shovel to mix top and bottom layers together
Watch our short tutorial here!
SANDWICHES
Love the presentation of the sandwiches. Very inviting plus it comes together with chips.
Margherita (129 php)
This is one of my favorite from the sandwich selection. Love the fresh tomatoes inside and not to mention the melted cheese! Yum.
Clubhouse (239 php)
This is our top pick from the sandwiches. The chicken is not overcooked. Loved the fresh and crisp of the lettuce.
BLT (209 php)
Love the combination of the bacon and the lettuce. The bacon has smokey taste which we loved.
BREWED COFFEE
Since the specialty here in Q Cup is coffee, we didn’t miss the chance to try one of their brewed coffee. The one we tried was imported from Singapore. And we loved it!
We saw how the coffee was made via GINA. It’s an award winning coffee instrument.
HOLIDAY TREATS
Coffee Jelly Float (180 php)
Tired of the usual coffee jelly that has whipped cream on top? What if we tell you that here in Q Cup, they put vanilla ice cream instead of whipped cream?! YES! And this is lit! The coffee jelly is a winner also! This is a must try!
