Gubat: A must-visit alfresco restaurant in QC

gubat qc

Welcome to Gubat, one of the most distinctive restaurants in the area, which is located on Mayaman Street in Quezon City.

You may enjoy the alfresco dining experience in this restaurant. Your eating experience will be made to feel great by their welcoming and attentive staff. You’ll be welcomed with a grin as soon as you arrive and looked after the entire time you’re eating.

In addition, remember to wash your hands! Because you’re going to eat the Filipino way with your bare hands.

The Pako Salad is without a doubt the most well-liked item on their menu. There is a flavor explosion in your mouth as a result of the combination of sweet and salty sensations, as well as the crispness of the fern grass. You’ll definitely want more of this dish.

We highly recommend their Lechon Kawali if you’re looking for something more filling. Each bite of the pork is a divine experience, thanks to the way its crispy surface complements its succulent and tender core.

Try out their Pritong Talong + Buro for something special. Fermented rice and fish are combined in this meal to produce a kaleidoscope of umami tastes.

You must try their Beef Tapa Flakes as well. Each bite is bursting with a rich, savory taste that is ideal for meat lovers seeking a dish with a little kick.

Without their Dinakdakan, no meal is complete. It’s a dish with a sour, spicy, and crunchy sensation in 1 bite.

We got their Turon with Ice Cream as dessert. The fact that the ice cream melts readily and is crunchy and not overly sweet indicates that it is homemade ice cream.

Craving for Kusina Luntian dishes? Worry no more! They have a Quezon City version of it!

Note that we quite had a hard time going here, especially if you’re commuting. We took Grab to lessen the hassle. It is located in a narrow street.

If you see this sign, then you’re in the right path.

Despite the fact of its location, many people are still lining up and dining here. Why not? The food is really great, just like in Kusina Luntian. Here, they just added some extra dishes, such as pasta.

Attaching below the full list of their menu.

Our favorite, extra Paco Salad!!! Swear, this is so good! Knowing me, really not a fan of vegetables, but this is an exception!

For the dessert, we had their Nilecheng Biko. But this isn’t the same in Kusina Luntian. It is just a typical leche flan.

Leche Flan (50 php)

For the drinks, we had Turmeric Iced Tea and Fresh Calamansi Juice. Both for 65 php each.

Feast!!!
