Subaru Square Restobar is a former “karaoke bar”. But when the pandemic happened, and karaoke bar is prohibited, they renovated it and made it a restobar.

They are known for their unlimited wings, Japanese fusion food, and private rooms. Aside from these, you will feel like in a different world when you enter their restaurant because of the red carpet upon entrance.

Yes, here in Subaru Square Restobar, you can have your own space for private events, such as meetings, parties, or gatherings.

No need to rent the room, just avail of the consumable fee depending on the room you will avail. Rooms can accommodate small groups (2-3 pax) up to big groups (up to 15 pax).

NOTE: As of this writing, they are only accommodating fully vaccinated guests for dine-in.

UNLIMITED WINGS

Unli wings start at 239 PHP and good for 1 hour and a half. Their chicken here is definitely a winner!!! We liked that the wings were still crunchy even after few hours. You can eat it plain or you can choose to dip it on their dips: spicy buffalo, barbeque, or honey mustard.

JAPANESE CUISINE

They serve authentic Japanese cuisine here as one of their chefs is Japanese. We tried their Tantanmen Ramen, Gyoza, and Tempura. All of it was good, especially the tempura.

FILIPINO FOOD

And yes, they also serve Filipino food here in Subaru Square Restobar. We tried their Sisig, Bulalo, and one of their best seller dish, Devil’s Crispy Pata. All of these were definitely amazing, especially the Devil’s Crispy Pata. Still crispy and juicy after few hours.

For the drinks, we got their best seller milk teas, Oreo Cheesecake and Ferrero Rock. The drinks were good and creamy. The pearls were soft and chewy.

Unliwingsarap: Your newest one-stop food shop in QC

Aside from Samgyupsarap 999, you can also visit this newly opened restaurant in La Loma, Quezon City, which is Unliwingsarap atbp Food House. It is just a few steps away from Samgyupsarap 999.

It looks like an old house that renovated into a restaurant. There’s nothing much in the place, it’s like a regular carinderia on the 1st floor. But we will recommend you to stay on the 2nd floor since they have some good lighting upstairs.

But if we’ll talk about the food they offer, that’s a different story. What they offer might drool you. So better ready…

They are known for their unlimited wings and rice for only 229 PHP. But now, they are also offering unlimited sisig and rice for only 199 PHP. Great deals, right?!

If you’re not into unlimited food, don’t worry since here at Unliwingsarap, they also have ala carte meals.

You can have a burger and fries with a glass of iced tea for only 120 PHP.

You can also order a platter and get sisig, chicken wings, lumpia, and rice for only 349 PHP. This includes a pitcher of iced tea too. (This is good for sharing!)

Their chicken wings have big servings and flavorful. It is really worth the price! They have wide variants of flavors too! For the flavor of their chicken wings, kindly see the photos below.

Then have some refreshing drinks after! Since most of their customers are requesting some refresher, you can now order mango shakes and milk teas at Unliwingsarap.

We got to try their mango shakes and two of their premium milk teas and it’s really a refresher after a heavy meal.

We loved their drinks since it’s not that sweet, just the right taste. We personally liked the Mango Delight!

Time limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes only.

I think the owner is a One Piece fanatic too. Even the staff shirts have One Piece name on it. The staff are also attentive to the customers. They are responsive to every customers refill request.

You can also order to go wings for only 120 PHP which includes 6-pc flavored wings. Aside from that, they also offer desserts which are Ice Candy (20 PHP) that are available in chocolate and mango flavor and Leche Flan (35 PHP).

They really have an affordable price yet serves quality food. Imagine, you can have unlimited wings and rice for only 219 PHP *UPDATED* with NO TIME LIMIT. Just a reminder, NO LEFT OVER and NO SHARING. They charge 20 PHP for every chicken wings left and 30 PHP for left over rice.

Bag O’ Wings: Affordable wings located in Manila

We went to Manila on a Saturday night to have a food trip. We found ourselves entering a food park near UST (University of Sto. Tomas). Well, this food park is called Fusebox Lifestyle Complex. This is located in Laong Laan St. cor. Asturias St., Manila.

Since it’s been so long since we had chicken, we saw this small stall inside the said food park. By the way, what I love about this food park is that each stall is enclosed, not the usual food park we see everywhere. This stall named Bag O’ Wings.

ABOUT BAG O’ WINGS

This is a newly-opened stall that opened last February 2019 and owned by a lovely couple. According to Sir Choy, his wife gave this idea and also the chef here.

What I love about their stall is that they are perfectly located near UST which they target students. So expect the price to be really budget-friendly and affordable. But fret not, even it’s affordable, their food are good and you’ll be surprised because it’s cheap!

To be honest, at first I’m not expecting a lot from their food because of the price posted. It’s really affordable. But after eating, we’re really surprised, happy, and full. The food were good. My personal favorite flavors were the Soy Garlic and Buffalo. About their Salted Egg, Ian told me that the flavor used are real salted eggs, not the usual powder salted eggs. So it’s a plus point for us!

This is really perfect for students too because the price here are very student-friendly. You can have unli wings without breaking your budget too much.
