You may opt to stay here or in their Main Room, which has no view. I guess, much better to stay in their View Deck Room to have a better stay experience.

Now, we will show you how the room looks inside. What’s inside of their View Deck Room?

The room is spacious. The name of our room is “Paradizoo”. It has 2 single beds, sofa beside the beds. It also has mini dining table that has a view. Beside the dining table is the mini refrigerator and a kettle. The TV is not in its latest model but it has cable. The aircon is working good, as well.

Roaming outside our room

The CR has a heater which is perfect because the weather in Tagaytay is unpredictable. It also has toiletries inside such as soaps, toothpaste, toothbrush, and tissue. It has a closet too which has extra mattress inside.

How about this view when you open the door every morning?

But the most favorite part of our stay is that you can enjoy your breakfast with an awesome view. Look!

One of the amenities inside La Bella are the Bodhi Mind and Body Shop and Bodhi Cafe and Library.

By the way, the word “BODHI” came from the name of a tree which is Bodhi Tree, wherein Gautuma Siddharta “Buddha” had his enlightenment.

It means, inside this shop, you can have a peaceful time looking or buying some essentials for yourself.

8 things I love about D’ Banquet Bakeshop and Restaurant

d banquet

This blog post is still a part of our anniversary celebration. Sorry for the late posts though. HAHA. So by the way, on our 2nd day in Tagaytay, we had brunch in a restaurant. But it’s not only an ordinary brunch. Why? Because it’s BUFFET! Here, I will list down the things I love about D’ Banquet Bakeshop and Restaurant.

ABOUT D’ BANQUET BAKESHOP AND RESTAURANT

So basically, it is a buffet restaurant that offers wide variant of food, mostly Filipino dishes. It started last March, 2010. If you’re going to Pink Sisters, you might want to pay a visit after church since it’s near from the church.

Here are the things I love about this restaurant:

1. Weekend buffet

They offer buffet lunch every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. The buffet rate is only 599 php per head.

Correction: They have buffet lunch every Saturday and Sunday

While on weekdays, they only offer ala carte for every customers. Note that they only accept CASH.

2. Wide variants of food choices

You’ll have a problem choosing on what to eat. But it’s okay, since it’s buffet, you can go back to try every food from time to time.

They have soups, salads, rice, Filipino dishes, pancit and pasta, pastries, drinks, and fresh fruits.

3. Spacious & garden-inspired interior

Aside from the good food they offer, it also has a spacious dining area. You can choose to dine in at their al-fresco dining area or in their air-conditioned/function room. Since we love to try something new, we opted to choose the al-fresco dining and to enjoy also the cool breeze of Tagaytay.

4. Accommodating staff

One thing I noticed was they have an awesome staff. From entering the place, they will immediately assists you in to your seats up to the buffet area. Their manager, sir William, is also super hands-on to them. Kudos to the staff!

5. It has a coffee shop inside

After pigging out to the buffet, why not sip a coffee right? It’s cool also to find a coffee shop inside a buffet restaurant. Also, the coffee they brew here is the famous coffee in Tagaytay. So it’s a must try indeed!

6. The famous Amira’s Buco Tart Haus

I noticed also that the people going here is always looking for Amira’s Buco Tart Haus. This is one of the famous tart haus here in Tagaytay. We also had a chance to try one of their best seller which is the Buko pie. And oh, it was really good!!!

7. It has a pasalubong center

Before leaving the restaurant, pay a visit to their pasalubong center. Here, they have the best pasalubongs from different provinces from REGION 4. Yes, you read it right.

8. Strategic location

Did I tell you that this is located along highway? If you’re coming from Aguinaldo Highway, it’s located near Pink Sisters. Don’t worry, they have a big signage outside the restaurant.

Azalea Backyard Restaurant: A perfect romantic getaway in Tagaytay

azalea backyard restaurant

Are you looking for a place where you can enjoy and have a romantic time with your special someone? This is the perfect place for you. Come and experience it now! Azalea Backyard Restaurant is just 3 hours away from Manila located in Cerca II, Anuling, Mendez, Cavite.

So me and my boyfriend finally had our first ever romantic date after nth years. Lol 😂 So this was one of the best days in my life. We found this thru their Facebook page and PMed them immediately.

Backyard date with my love. Another check to our bucket list! ✔️

Actually, its my 2nd time that I messaged them. The first time was January, 2017 when their former name was still Rosevill Backyard and they were located in Talisay, Batangas. We planned to visit them for our anniversary but unfortunately, they didn’t respond. Little did I know that they’re planning to change their location including their name.

AMBIANCE

About their setup, a simple backyard with some tables, chairs, and  little designs on the sides. But for me, it was really romantic. That’s even more romantic because we’re the only couple on the day we went there.

FOOD & PRICE

For their food, the servings was really huge, from the appetizers to desserts. Yes! The price was worth it! We availed their Date Night Package that costs P499 per person. This comes with an appetizer, main entree, and desserts. I was dissapointed about their plating but never mind, the taste of the food is what really important.

TIP

  1. They strictly require to do a reservation first and 50% downpayment thru their account.
  2. They only accept cash.

APPETIZERS

Hummus & Home-made Tortilla and Grilled Banana, Crispy Bacon, and Chunky Peanut Butter

The tortilla was quite salty. I’m not sure if it’s because of the dip/sauce or the tortilla itself. For the second one, I never thought that banana and bacon was a hit! It was good! I super loved the taste.

ENTREES

Five Spice Grilled Pork Belly and Oven-baked Rosemary & Garlic Chicken

Mine was the pork belly. I loved it. The spices were there. You can really taste it. I’m surprised with the rice servings tho. HAHA. For the chicken, it was my boyfriend’s fave food. He told me that he enjoyed his food. So there you go. No more questions about it. LOL.

DESSERTS

IMG_5110.jpg

Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownies and Smores Ice Cream Sandwich

For the brownies, when they served it to us, it is quite cold already. But the taste was still great. There was a unique taste, I guess it has some mint flavor. For the smores, it was a typical smores. Nothing else.

How to go there?

From Manila, just ride a bus from Baclaran heading to Tagaytay then drop off to Crossing Mendez (Savemore) and look for orange tricycles around the area. Ask the driver to send you at Gatpandan Street, Cerca II, Anuling. They also have signage along the way.
