Almost every day, there’s a new food stall is that being established in Maginhawa Street. As time goes by, some of their neighbor streets also doing the same thing. One of them is Malingap Street.
I already went to Malingap Street when my friends and I went to Z Compound.
But when I visit last Saturday, there’s a newly-opened food park in Malingap Street. It’s Malingap Central Food Hall that is just few steps away from Z Compound.
ABOUT MALINGAP CENTRAL FOOD HALL
They started operating last October 2017. What makes it different to other food parks? It’s not actually a food park. Or may I say, not your ordinary food hub?!
This food hall stands out because of its indoor seating. Meaning, you don’t need to worry in case the rain pours. Yey! It has an air-conditioned and al fresco area. It also have ample slots for parking. That is one of the main factors why they stand out.
Aside from this, it has a 600-meter square space. So huge! This food hall is owned by Chef Edward Bugia, the owner of Pino restaurant, which is just in front of them. 🙂
Plus, you can really notice this instagrammable place. Starting from the floor, to its colorful chairs, and to its lighting. Perfect!
Inside Malingap Central Food Hall, they also cover events and workshops almost every day. Just visit their FB page for the updates.

One of the stall inside Malingap Central Food Hall is The BRGR Project. Their previous stall was located in Maginhawa Street. They decided to moved here last August, 2018.
ABOUT THE BRGR PROJECT
This has been one of the longest burger joint here in Metro Manila since they started in 2010. They are known for customizing/designing your own burger. Aside from their best-selling burgers, they also offer fries, wings, milkshakes, and beers.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Upon ordering, they will give you an order sheet so you can choose whatever you want in your burger. Amazing, right?
With this idea, you can come up to 500,000 possible combinations! They also offer Keto and veg-friendly options too.
Watch how they prepare the burgers in front of you…
Now, here are our orders! YAY…
Angus beef, bacon, mushrooms, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, and sesame seed bun
VERDICT: Love how the patty was cooked. So tender and beefy. Look how big it was! Kinda difficult to eat it with bare hands. It will be more delicious if they add more sauce in it, I don’t know, I found their sauce not enough for me. Huhu but this one is good!
Chicken, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, onion rings, sriracha ranch, and sesame seed bun
VERDICT: This was my favorite! I really love the sauce. It has a spicy-kick taste that made the burger more delicious. Though you can’t really distinguish the chicken meat in it but overall it was good more than the Bacon Western Melt.
NOTE: The BRGR Project delivers via Honestbee and Foodpanda.
