Just had an amazing #looloorendezvoos again last October. Its been a while since my last so I’m happy to see them again. Our host was The Fat Seed Cafe + Roastery that is located inside UP Town Center.
ABOUT THE FAT SEED CAFE + ROASTERY
They just started operating last February, 2018. This is perfect for studying and working people because it’s a fusion of cafe and restaurant. I noticed that some diners have their laptops so I guess this is their new favorite cafe spot as they offer specialty coffee and pastries.
Upon entering the door, this will welcome you aside from the accommodating staff…
Look at their mini bar at the center…
Loved these… Wish I could take them home. LOL.
Now let’s go to the main event…the FOOD!

RATINGS
FOOD –
I swear, all the food we had were amazingly good!!! Will definitely visit this place again and try their other drinks and desserts.
MY TOP PICKS:
- Kimchi Fried Rice with a Slab of Maple Bacon – This one is so good!!! Actually, it’s my first time to try this Kimchi Rice and I’m surprised that I loved it. Well, I ate kimchi alone so I think that’s one of the reasons why. The bacon was so tender plus cooked well. I will recommend it to anyone.
- Grilled Cheese with Tomato Cream Soup – If you don’t know me, I’m a big fan of cheese so this one caught my attention upon serving this to us. LOL. Unfortunately, didn’t had any chance to dip it in the tomato cream soup. They said it tasted like pizza. HUHU. Envy 🙁 LOL. But it’s okay, the grilled cheese is delish alone.
- Hotate Soy Cream Pasta – Oh this one!!! The restaurant’s best seller. Now I knew why! They used Japanese soy cream on this one. So good and flavorful. Yuuuum!
PRICE –
I’m telling you, all the food we had were good!!! The prices are very reasonable!!! Every penny is worth it! One meal/dish is already good for sharing.
SERVICE –
The staff were very accommodating to all customers. Upon entering the door, someone will assist you immediately. Plus point for them here!
For the serving time of the food, it took 10-15 minutes before they serve one dish/meal.
AMBIANCE –
This is a fusion of cafe and restaurant. What really caught my attention were their murals and interiors. So classy and artsy. It also has a mini bar at the center of the restaurant.
LOCATION –
It’s located inside UP Town Center. Very accessible to those near the area. I just found their space a little bit small or crowded? Hope they will expand their place so they can accommodate more diners.
