What if we tell you that this place is a former food park? Yes, if you’re familiar with North Hive Food Park, this is the look of the place now.

The name of the restaurant is Tikme Dine which is a Batangas word and means “Tikman Dito“.

Upon entrance, the guard will immediately check your temperature as part of their safety protocols. To all plantitos and plantitas, better get ready as the place is surrounded by plants and trees.

The Royalcare Garden sells different ornamental plants while Super Talipapa Express sells vegetables online.

They also have some nipa huts where you can dine-in if you miss the provincial vibe.

If you’re wondering, they are also open for private events via The Royalcare Venue. As of this writing, their function room is not yet open but they offering this open area for garden weddings, debut, christening, etc.

This area can accommodate up to 50 pax. When we went there, some couples are doing ocular visits for their upcoming weddings.

This view will welcome you as you go to the restaurant…

Note that the place is not yet fully finished. In fact, the balcony area where we dined in just opened the same day of our visit. This place is ideal for a romantic date night.

If you don’t want to dine at the balcony, you can choose to stay at the lanai area.

Before we go on to the food in Tikme Dine, here’s the complete menu of the restaurant. They have ala carte and group meals.

Now, let’s go on to the food they offer. Since the name of the restaurant came from Batangas, expect that majority of the food here are from the said province.

For the appetizer, we tried their Crispy Veggie Okoy. Most of our friends know that I’m not a fan of vegetables. But since I love the regular okoy, I gave this a try. And it was so good! You can’t taste the vegetables in there. Plus the vinegar dip was so good too!

For the mains, we tried the Beef Wanton Mami. Of course it’s much better if you have Asado Siopao on the side. The beef were so tender plus the soup was flavorful.

We also got to try the Sizzling Bulalong Batangas. It’s our first time to try this kind of food and it was really good. The sauce was flavorful and again the beef were tender.

For the desserts, we had Kapeng Barako and Suman which are famous in Batangas.

  3. The whole ambiance is very lovely and relaxing! I think it is definitely a must-visit place. Those foods are divine!

  4. I love the open area!!! It’s really safer eating outdoors, especially during this pandemic and what a line up of food!!! Mukhang masarap talaga lahat and it’s been a while since I’ve eaten a well-cooked filipino meal. Huhuhu. Sarap naman bisitahin nito.

  5. The place looks lovely! It’s indeed a nice venue for wedding receptions and other events. 🙂 Aww I miss the kapeng barako and suman from Batangas! Yum!

  6. I notice you didn’t say much about the kapeng barako and suman. I’m from there and I hope that they caught the proper Batangan flavor with the suman, I really love that dessert cause it is so convenient, like opening up a banana hehehe. And did you take your coffee with just some brown sugar? that’s how we usually do it. I l love the place as an events place, and I can definitely see this as a nice, small private wedding venue with our current situation.

PS: kakamiss tuloy umuwe doon sa may amen. ga iyan. HAHAHA
